I'm making one of those demo-style wooden placards on a stick with "Up For The Cup" written on it. If I promise not to bosh anyone over the head with it, will they let me bring it into the ground? Or can't I be trusted?

Not sure whether to do a really good job...or will part of the charm be to wave around a crappy piece of silver covered card board that looks remotely like an FA Cup?

I bet it's not as easy to make as first thought!

Tinfoil FA Cups are the epitome of non-league.

Well, yes, point taken.

However, tinfoil FA Cups are the type of things that elderly women wearing chunky sweaters in club colours & bobble hats sport at their "big day out" when watching Shepshed Charterhouse have their moment in the sun, entertaining "league giants" Scunthorpe.

Such things are not for fans of league clubs of 87 years standing.

Forget FA Cup cardboard cut outs, everyone should turn up with homemade Tracy Islands.

FFS!!

How about we just go in our club colours with no stupid ideas for attention or to get on the tv?

Its embarrasing.

My seven year old nephew made one today at school,
He phoned me, really excited and all that to tell me and ask if I got him a ticket

I said yes, but TWH said its embarrassing (notice the spelling) to take a home made FA cup along to a big match and he said to me

'What does that bounder know'

I was shocked, I don't mind telling thee

Parmo there's no instructions as such just persevere and watch not to hurt your fingers on the scissors whilst cutting through the tough cardboard. Here you can use my pic as a template!
