The one day of the year we exiles need to get in touch with the club for tickets, the fking phones go down.
banghead
Is it really the "surrounding area" that's affected or have Pools not paid the bill?

Phones ok here.

They've probably just turned them off cos there's a queue, they usually do.

I have to admit that the ticket situation and facilities at pools are rubbish, anytime there is a big match and demand for tickets the club grinds to a standstill. All this rubbish about are you on the system and give us your name address etc whats all that about?

I have been to matches at liverpool, everton when I was at Uni and simpily walked up to ticket office handed my money over and thats it all process no longer than 2 mintues.

this database thing to buy tickets needs scrapping now altogether - absolute waste of time.
Who needs the info exactly? They aren't using it for market research or anything - I didn't renew my season ticket this season but nobody contacted me about it................. is it for the police I wonder... and if it is that's a blatant infringement on data protection laws

Are prefer the term 'Bin Dippers' when it comes to our whining, unfunny, north western, haven't won the league for nearly twenty years and it looks like they have bottled it again, friends

Does this apply to Everton fans too, or do you just hate Liverpool?

When you think about it the "are you on the database" is rather stupid.

Do they ask you if you just turn up and pay at the gate for a normal league game, but have never been before.

The only argument for it is to stop West Ham fans getting in the 'Home' parts of the ground. But if they have travelled all they way up from London to get them, which of course they won't, then I would say let them have them.
