I love how 'he' has to tackle them while 'she's' busy phoning.... mind you, I have my doubts about a copper who talks about ...'making an assessment'.... hardly the Jack Reagen is it?

Have you noticed how all these senior coppers nowadays look and talk like sociology lecturers and drone on about 'community' and other buzz words from the 'Softee Walter' handbook of policing. I just want a copper to use a bit of common sense and look like Biffa Bacons dad.

What a smug little fellow he is - look at how I can follow procedures so well and say the right things. Everything you need in a copper eh?

I the fact that "Asst Chief Constable Dave Thompson was discussing neighbourhood policing with Ch Supt Janette McCormick in McDonald's",

more like they were having an unscheduled break there, and what exactly is neighbourhood policing is that police speak for having a good gossip

I like what A spokesman for McDonalds said: "We are very appreciative of the support given to us by the Greater Manchester Police.

But when you read at exactly what he done it was basically shout at the bloke and then do nothing so what support is that exactly (not that i think he should have jumped in there like eddie murphy in coming to america), but when you read the article it has more holes than swiss cheese.

"I went to confront one of the offenders who was threatening members of staff. "

"When I shouted at him, he turned around and produced a large knife, so I made an assessment that to tackle him could have put myself in danger.
