heard From a workmate today that sky interviewed Joel in the north star on marina about his impending move to gold coast. Anyway he says he hasnt signed anything yet to say he's defo going. He is waiting to see what other offers come in also to see what pools offer him. The interview is set to be on sky before our game this weekend.

Where did it come from? I heard it from at least three sources on Friday night, normally quite ones as well!

We must have some level of interest in him as these stories don't just come from nowhere, unless someone has just made it up and it's spread like a Chinese whisper! But I heard of an interest when Wilson was still manager.

Saying all that I reckon the player himself would love to be back at Pools, that's one of the main reasons I'd like us to sign him.

It's clear that someone at the Leyton Orient end has been told of the £50,000 bid, the same poster is now saying the deal looks dead....

I understand what you are saying chip but I think at the moment we'd be daft not to be interested in Boydie, he's a better option than some of the other strikers who are being mentioned. Just look at the majority of comments from Orient fans on that thread.

I also heard that he turned down a contract at Orient last week, before the rumours even kicked in.

Messageboards are the source of a lot more bullshit than actual truth and I dont mean just speculation. People believe owt on here but I suppose it keeps things fresh and ticking over.

The only one I take notice of is the feller who gives the horse racing tips, at least his tip comes in once in a while!!

You know what i would like to see, somewhere where it says Boydy is under contract for another 2 yrs to Orient (the posts ive seen by Orient fans think hes out of contract this summer). If he wanted to move north etc he could of picked another club rather than stay there for another 2 yrs.
