Does anyone know any under 12's footballers available in town to strengthen a U12DIV1 Teesside Junior Football Alliance team.

PM me for details

We played a team from the south of the river a few weeks ago and it was the same.

The manager said that they were warned from other borer teams that the Hartlepool teams cheat like fook and employ bent referees.

He said they were fully prepared for any chew before the game had even started.

In other words they were ready to argue like fook over every decision.

Oh the joy of kids football eh. :uhoh:

I've met a few cheats from Norton in my time (the ref situation is similar to St. Francis). As for teams "south of the river" they are so far up themselves I'm surprised they don't disappear!

St Francis cheat......and employ Ref's too young to look after themselves. And as they have more teams than anyone else its easy to see why the borer lot get upset.

I hope your not putting all Francis teams under that, i play for the senior team and can safely say it would be impossible for us to 'cheat'.
I dont have any involvment with the junior teams but can safely say in the 15 years ive been with the club that have been nothing short of fantastic to me.

You had to see the game I saw maybe.

Choose a referee too young, then tell them you will help them make decisions. Oh you had to be there.

Fair enough, as you said though, theres alot of teams under St Francis name.

BTW I think TJFA is too far up the ar5es of the Boreo's. Caused a lot of trouble a couple of years ago by banning Centre of Excellence player from being registered to teams.. Its about time we made a break away league for the plebs "North of the River" with sensible rules that does not stop kids playing football.

Who is the bloke who runs it? I remember he ran a team aswell...kader maybe. What a ignorant tvvat he was. We were pretty pish at the time having moved from the gazzette league to the teeside league top division and when we scored past his team he went ballistic at the ref. Didnt have the courtsey to say well done to any of us even though his team won in the end. banghead Also made some rather sh*tty remarks at our manager to try and belittle(sp) us.

Have reffed in TJFA for a number of years and the only incident I can remember was a boro team at u16 level last season. They lost the match and 'surprisingly' their assistant coach was not happy with my performance. I told him 'tough' and he threatened to report me to the FA. As yet 21 months later, I have not heard anything further.

The TJFA gives organised games for hundreds of kids who otherwise would not get a regular game. The team officials give up many hours of their time. People like the one you mention here are a tiny minority.

As for younger refs, they have to start somewhere and they need to develop a thick skin and ignore the 'advice' that is freely offered from the sideline. Selective deafness is a quality that develops as they gain in experience.

Is that the Kader manager? I remember a Kader manager from when I was younger called Chris who was also Boro's ratcatcher/pest controller. He was a bigmouth back then and his team were never up to much. I turn 23 this year if that was your age group.

Dunno but I witnessed some disgraceful scenes on Sunday Morning at Rossmere School.

Brinkburn u-11s Vs Norton and Stockton...some chimp on the Norton side (no doubt a Dad) was being a complete and utter arse with the referee...talk about abusive...no wonder the kids don't stand a chance.

Derek Martin was ref..if I'd have been him I'd have called it off.

He reffed a few games for us when i ran a team in the peterlee league, an absolutely shocking ref imo.

However we sussed him out after 2 games and if you have a go or question his decisions then you get nothing for the rest of the game. He also used to leave before we had the chance to pay him then report us to the league.

There was another ref who was worse, Alan Parks. Booked 9 and sent 3 off in a 0-0 draw that didn't have a bad tackle in it.
