Connery - Thunderball
Moore - Man with the Golden Gun
Dalton - Licence To Kill
Brosnan - Die Another Day

overall favourite has to be Lazenby - OHMSS.

No you arent Fensy, he's an overrated smarmy ponce.

He has gone on far too long now, a bit like Coronation Street and Cliff Richard.

I had a good giggle at the last one where they had the invisible car. I watched it on an airoplane so I didn't contribute to the coffers but I'm beinbg escorted to the cinema on Sunday night to see this one. It's just harmless fantasy innit?? Not to be taken seriously??

I'm with 3quid and Fens, why all the big hoo-har about these films, they are the most over rated entertainment medium since the beatles.

Not like James Bond you should all be sent to loidsville with a fully paid up season membership .He is and they are class as long as you don't take them seriously you know what you're getting with them if you're looking for some deeper meaning then Bond is not for you but if you want a couple of hours escapism then they are class.Regarding the latest one was a bit disappointed really apart from the construction site sequence there was little else to keep my young un interested ie a big lack of gadgets and chases etc but as a film very watchable as a Bond film mmmm

The Beatles are not the best band in history, they are and were always producers of puerile nonsense.

Oooh love me doooooo
yooou know I love yooooo
I'll always be truoooooo
so pleeeeeeese love me doooooo.

or

Oh please, say to me
You'll let me be your man
And please, say to me
You'll let me hold your hand.
Now let me hold your hand,
I want to hold your hand.

Farking rubbish! A primary school could do better.

And not forgetting the immortal...

Desmond has a barrow in the market place...
Molly is the singer in a band...
Desmond says to Molly "girl I like your face"
And Molly says this as she takes him by the hand...
Obladi oblada life goes on brahhh...
Lala how the life goes on...
Obladi Oblada life goes on brahhh...
Lala how the life goes on.

Molly needs testing for substance abuse! No suprise really when it was penned by that bunch of overrated junkies.

The overlong and winding on forever road.

You may not like their lyrics but you cannot deny their popularity and sucess. Next you'll be telling me that Hartlepool are better than Darlo

Back to James Bond I had noticed that Bournemouth had lost six games in a row since appointing a new manager, unfortunatly they managed a point at Bradford yesterday thanks to Dean Windarse being sent off after 10 minutes to prevent his record being W0 D0 L7, the managers name?

The names Bond.... Kevin Bond!

James Bond?
What gets me is why, when they capture him, they have to set up some elaborate slow death designed for suspense, usually incorporating a rope or a ticking thing.
Its not realistic and it wouldnt happen.
It gives him time to think about things and escape.
Just shoot the 'lovely lovely person'. rage

As for the Beatles, well talk about best band is irrelevant unless someone can come up with better. Okay, their early stuff was a bit naive and innocent but it wasnt at the time, thats only todays perception looking back.
I thought the Stones were better for a couple of albums but looking back over whole careers can anyone think of a better band?
I'm not sure I can.

Bond fillums are ok, so long as you are looking to watch escapist tosh

I usually find them entertaining, but wouldn't go to the cinema to watch one

Fave is Live & Let Die - the chase in speedboats is class (plus it's got Jane Seymour)

Exactly.

I do believe that the Beatles tried to be psychedelic like Arthur Lee and Love and failed. Love's songs were clever, Beatles tried and didn't make sense with the Sgt Pepper album. Love responded by showing them who were the true masters with Forever Changes.

James Bond?.....I've had more pleasure from Brooke Bond ...especially the chimps, who have more acting talent than the spy.

I saw it last night, it was OK I got in for Studey prices,

It all depends what you want from it I guess. I thought it passed quite quickly so I must have been entertained by it. It'll never be Catch 22 or JFK but it's pleasant enough to watch.

The difference is I, and probably most of the population, haven't heard Love's Forever Changes, but I and an awful lot of the population have got a copy of Sgt Peppers.

Yes but that doesn't take away that Forever Changes is the better album. Those who have heard it will agree with me. Despite most of the population not hearing it, it was voted within Channel 4's 100 most popular albums.
