The old man got me the first season of The Wire on boxset for Xmas. I'm yet to watch it because I'm afraid it'll take over my life and I don't need that at the minute.

Brotherhood is excellent, fully in agreement Katcha. It's no Sopranos like.

thats what i like about it tho, it doesnt try to be and at times is (comically) randomly violent


wire 1st series available now on tv on demand on virgin

as are 9 episodes of brotherhood and 3 of underbelly

The Sky+ is set! I like the look of this. I'm going to take it on tomorrow night! FX is a pretty good channel. Did anyone see Breaking Bad? Quality stuff!

I have a copy version of that series, never watched it though. My dad reckons it is excellent so I'll get round to it, it's only quite a short series I think?

Yeah. It was another short one but they have made a second series of it which hasn't been shown yet.
