Apart from you?

Are you still stopping at your cousin's big house? You'll be dead impressed with his mansion and you can come down the Mill and have a pint with us all before the match.

Well, I'm seeing who's going first so I can find the most cost-effective way of travelling to Hartlepool.

Yes, me if I can get a ticket or 2.
I used to live not too far from Upton Park and had friends just a few yards from the ground (behind the South Bank).
I also had a friend (Roger Cross) who went on to play for them a few times and later played for Orient (on loan), Brentford, Fulham & Millwall. He went on to coach at Millwall, Tottenham & West Ham.
As a result of the above I got to see West Ham quite a lot, would be great to see them play at the Vic.

Oh yeah, I'd have to sort that as well beforehand if I could come up.

The only thing though is that hitch-hiking doesn't necessarily guarantee you getting to where you want to be, quickly and safely.

Get yourself down to Shoeburyness and my Uncle Ed will get you a lift up for free.. it's the gunnery range and as long as you don't mind being tied to a missile and can swim ashore ( they're not all that accurate) you're quids in......... avoid the fish sands though, or it could all end in tears.

Unfortunately I'll be 4000 miles away stuck in the middle of the f**king desert!

I'm hoping Al Jazeera show it. They did show Bournemouth v Blyth, so you never know.

I'll have to knock off work early if they do too! Worth it though.

That wasn't a joke, Al Jazeera are the equivalent of the BBC round here and they cover things quite well - especially the sports.

You've been reading the Daily Mail too much...

I'm getting less happy by the day...told the kids we couldn't go home for Christmas as we're skint so I can't get away with flying back for a Pools match. Thought it wasn't too bad as its on telly but found out today that I have to work from about 2 on the Saturday afternoon- that's 1 uk time! Can't afford to turn the job down and don't get paid if I'm sick... I need to find a way of creating a later start. To cap it all it is Mrs Toulouse's birthday so when I get in about 1 the next morning and immediately stick the recording on that will go down very badly indeed...

I am fooked!
