Pools should have put the admission prices for the West Ham game up making it £21 to stand and £25 to sit Concessions £12.
Pools should milk these games for all they are worth.

But think of the cost of repairs after the riot?

I already shell out a fortune following Pools, and £20 is one of the reasons the crowds are down. People aren't made of money you put the prices up like that people will stay at home and watch ITV.

As a 1 off like this fans would pay more to see a premier league side at our ground and i'm not talking fortunes 1 less gauge before or after the game.

I think you do have something Mr Dough, whether you are on the wind up or not. We could categorise the Rink End for the Leeds United game as category AA* match and charge the robbing bastards £35. Now that is a good money making scheme.

No it wouldn't it would alienate fans, some people are struggling to pay £20 in current climate that is evident from our attendances. To potentially sicken more people off would be financial suicide.

I dont think people are struggling to pay £20 PJ they spend it on other things now and pools is second or even third choice.

You're obviously unaware how many people are struggling for work at the moment.

Last season there was 8 of us standing together, this season i think there has only been the 8 of us at the same match maybe twice, one of the lads rarely goes as he cant afford it this season and the other one has missed 25% of games due to not being able to afford it, and i bet there are hundreds more like them.

To even suggest putting the prices up is silly, people are out of work, people working short weeks, no overtime available and money is tighter now than i have ever known it be.

I have been to every home game this season and a fair few away games, if i didn't have a season ticket i'd have missed games due to finances.

i remember being at a dinner and i was sat next to a director of M/Bro i was horrified when he told me and i quote
"M/bro fans are stupid we can charge what we want, sure they will moan for a while but they will adapt and they will eventually pay the money"
He also went on to say that teams like Hartlepol wouldnt last and they would just become fodder for the bigger clubs. !!! that was about 5 years ago mind, but the aarogant chunts words are something i will never forget.

and yes i realise the words M/bro fans are stupid is in the above, so please do try and be original in the replies

already too many games coming up, loads of midweek games, with carlisle at home 3 days after the hammers game, and a long and expensive trip on the saturday to brighton, followed by a midweek at huddersfield.

thats 4 games in 11 days at a time when even garlands are making folk redundant.

increasing prices when game is live on television would be suicidal. folk would simply go to that game and skip the home league game with carlisle.

presumably i will see you at brighton and uddersfield mr mouldy ?
No Chip i won't be at uddersfeild or the gay city and the reason is we are shiite away from home no excuses about money or time just not interested to traval unless.

I can sit next to you with your dodgy hair style.
