Good post and l think the reaction from the crowd is more frustration. We are down to the hard core pools fans and over the last decade, expect more on the playing front. The gate is a sad reflection of our current predicament, we have no manager and the chairman has stated no funds are available.

We are in trouble....... confised

is Barrett the single worst keeper ever to play for Pools? I think he's definitely in the bottom three alongside Moverley and Finch
I will gladly take part in a kidnap plan to take him as far away from Hartlepool as we can, which involves sawing off his arms so he can never play in goal for Hartlepool again.
Until he is booted out of our club then I don't think I will bother attending many more matches. Why would I want to watch a team that is near certainties to get beat, purely because the keeper is unable to save a single solitary shot.
He is not just dogshit, he is pure unadulterated diarrhoea

8. This game reminded me of the Wrexham Ugarte game a few seasons ago. the 6-4 game. We also should have won that, but like yesterday, we just couldnt defend. It was comical how they nearly scored every time WE had a corner. I would love to hear CT's view on that.

Ive lost count on how many times the opposition have had a goalscoring chance/break from our corners or free kicks. Its happened for much too long a time now and is another thing that needs addressing.

Unlike some of the posts on here last night.

Here goes:

1. The keepers. neither are good enough, we all know that. I have to have faith that CT does as well. I exepct a new keeper in place by the time of the next league game.

2. We didnt play that badly yesterday. OK, we defended shockingly when Crewe broke.....every time we had a corner.......but for a twenty minute spell in the first half we were superb. Infact with a bit of luck we could have been 3-1 at half time. To be fair though, they should have had a penner first half....you only had to see Ben Clarks face when he realised he had got away with it.

3. Humphreys and Monkhouse in the first half were back to their best. I just wish they would shoot more. Second half they were poor. But unlike most of you, I blame Monkhouse for that and not Humphreys. Humphreys was exposed time and again, because Monkhouse had gone walkabout. He started to drift all over the place looking for the ball....so we lost all shape. Monkhouse was not being lazy.

4. We have no spine in the side. All good side have a spine that make the team tick. We have all the players we need around the spine. but unless we sign a keeper, a ball winning terrior midfielder, a commanding defender, and a proper partner for Joel, we are fooked.

5. The midfield were more to blame than the defence yesterday. We have the most powderpuff midfield I can ever remember. We need a new fitter Willie Boland type of player. Sadly thats not Ben Clark, who is a defender playing in midfield.

6. The booing. I was ashamed of our players yesterday, but I was more ashamed to be in the crowd listening to the boos. Not at the final whistle, as they deserved booing. But the stuff dished out to Kyle, and worse still to CT. Come on ladies, think about it, we boooed kyle, and cheered on foley. Was Kyle THAT bad, really? He was shite, for the wages he is getting, but he wasnever THAT bad. And as for booing CT, well, words just fail me. banghead

7. Players playing out of position. Its beyond a joke now. Sweeney, Humphreys, Clark, Jones, Liddle and then Mackay, all playing out of position. I suppose it was CT's fault yesterday, but for me that was Wilsons team, and Wilsons fault.

8. This game reminded me of the Wrexham Ugarte game a few seasons ago. the 6-4 game. We also should have won that, but like yesterday, we just couldnt defend. It was comical how they nearly scored every time WE had a corner. I would love to hear CT's view on that.

9. Unless Hodcroft loosens the purse strings we could be in trouble. And I dont just mean relegation. I feel sure yesterday will have lost us 500 fans. they wont be back now, if thats the best team HUFC are going to put out. Three players out, means we have no squad. There was nothing on te bench....nothing.

We need at least 3 signings, signings good enough to make the team, not just squad players. If ken wants the fans back, he has to act, and act in three days time. Over to you Ken.

That concludes my thoughts.

Got little to do at the moment so lets see if i can answer all of these after reading just the first two

(1) - i believe that ALB has lost all of the confidence he gained before his sending off and will probably not play again in the league for the club this season.

(2) - we we're all over them for the last 30 mins of the 1st half or so and if we had another finisher in the squad other than joel we would have been streets clear.

(3) they did combine yesterday better than recently and yes they should shoot more but they yesterday they both choose to use their right foot when they had the oppurtunities - now you would think by now they would know that their right legs are their for balance alone.

(4) see 3 re striker - alas collins and nelson doesnt work and midfield aint for clark - make him centre half, drop one of the other two and use a different midfielder

(5) just read this - ha - answered above - liddle seems to be reluctant to put some welly behind the ball, and jones maybe too much - elements are there, just not mixed right, no chemistry

(6) seem my earlier post re some yakker retard in the millhouse stand

(7) the manager is always to blame but see 5 - need to get the pens and paper out and work the right formula out with the elements we have

(8) the game was never that good

(9) the extra fans that were there yesterday wont beat down a heavy track to get here again, so we need to budget on 3300 - 3700 depending on away gate.

signings WILL come - kyle's departure and the financial benefit of such will be reflected in some major signings i firmly believe. Can't see the three though, unless another one leaves.

in agreement on all but one - kinell - must be something in the water
