I do hope its the former, but I think the latter is also correct.

The problems are both, I'm semi pleased with the signing. I reckon if we can bolster the midfield and provide service to a front 2 of Duffy and Brown we'll be fine.

However, I also feel I'm clutching at straws in an act of desparation.

I think if you look at the stats, for our games, we seem to have plenty of efforts on goal. It's just getting them in the onion bag, that lets us down.
So I would suggest the main problem lies with the strikers !

He only scored 9 in 8 seasons at Rotherham, hardly prolific

Sorry he got 3 in the Cup as well.

That's 14 career goals, puts him in the Jon Daly category !
