agreed!

however, the club are one mistake away from relegation, which i don't think would have happened under Wilson......

So everyone who is very happy that Wilson has gone needs to have their fingers crossed that IOR and uncle Ken make a bloody good choice in the next manager

Hang on.....are you suggesting that we are close to being a relegation team?

And that one bad managerial decision could be the difference between survival and relegation?

Wilson hasnt done a very good job then has he?

Wilson has us in 13th place, which when you consider EVERYTHING from quality & size of squad, wage budget & quality of the opposition in our league, and luck with injuries etc, then i think we should be somewhere around 10th, so 13th isn't the end of the world really is it?

I wouldn't be on my own...I would have the support of the Poolies on the BBC 606 site and both the Member of Parliament for Hartlepool and His Worship The Mayor of Hartlepool, according to the Hartlepool Mail.

You keep mentioning the mayor, yet when asked why you think this you've not given an answer.

So has he told you personally then or what?

Cos if you're going on what the Mail says then you either can't read or you really are a complete and utter spactarded mong of the highest order.

Waiting...

From last night's Mail:

Director of Sport Chris Turner has been placed in temporary charge of the first team ahead of Friday night's match at home to Southend United.
Hartlepool MP Iain Wright and Mayor of Hartlepool Stuart Drummond were among the first to comment on his departure.

Mr Wright said: "It's come as a huge shock to me. The last thing we need going into Christmas is instability.

"I thought Danny was a great manager, but we should be higher in the table than we are. It's been a disappointing season so far, especially with it being the centenary year. We should really be pushing for promotion.

"Hopefully success is just around the corner because when the club does well the town picks up."

Mayor Drummond, who described Wilson as a "top bloke", said: "He's one of the most successful managers we've ever had. It's actually amazing how quickly things can turn around in football. I guess you could say the club seems a bit flat at the moment.

"Hopefully Danny should be remembered for the promotion season and the unbeaten run. There was a real buzz about the town and it shouldn't be forgotten.

"It's pleasing to know that Chris Turner has been put at the helm, we're certainly in safe hands with him.

"I guess there's never a dull moment as a Poolie."

Well, actually there was a different quote from Mayor Drummond in last night's Mail, it's not on here, and he thought the sacking was "a surprise".

Come on brainbox, pick the bones out of that.

Didn't Iain Wright resign as Hartlepools representative in parliment for whatever reason?

He is simply the mp for hartlepool now isn't he?

AND...

WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY SUPPORT YOU!

No, but they've got the same opinion as me and they're obviously not stupid are they, so I must have an argument.

I wouldn't be thinking the departure was premature if I din't have an argument.

They do not have the same opinion as you, in no part of there article do they say they feel wilson should have kept his job, they simply say there shocked, that he done well at pools etc

nothing about them wishing he stayed, that it's a bad decision, that ior are wrong to dismiss him

your a total moron

Where is the mayor saying that he is shocked.

Get your carer to read it again to you, but ask him to go more at your pace this time.

Then post us an answer when he's finished, on about Friday.

I was shocked when I hard the news 24 hours ago, that doesn't mean to say I was unhappy about it. It came out the blue of course they were shocked.

You can be shocked in a good way you know?

Iain Wright also said...

"I thought Danny was a great manager, but we should be higher in the table than we are. It's been a disappointing season so far, especially with it being the centenary year. We should really be pushing for promotion."

So basically reading between the lines he is saying pools are right?

Why have you picked up on the fact he is shocked but not picked up on this?

It's equally if not more important.
