Last Night's Ska Gig!!!!

Was very very good and well attended!!!! :coool:

Over the moon to see so many 'Bunker' members there!!!! clappp

Had a really good chat with Mr.Tree and Grave!!!! :grin:

Sussex is a decent lad....in real life!!!! :grin:

He still had to pay £7 in though!!!! :laugh:

1st band on,DIRTY REVOLUTION,were very good played ska music but leaned towards a heavier roots/dub reggae sound with choruses to make the kaiser chiefs jealous.Female vocals work very well too.I really hope I get to see & hear them more often.

2nd band,THE NEW TOWN KINGS,ska music very much in the british 2 tone style,were only on stage a couple of minutes & the dance floor was full & stayed full until they finished.Chances are that by this time next year they will be playing places much larger than the Studio.

Between the bands we had the legendary DJ Scully who put on a record,went to dance to it & forgot to come back & put any more on :laugh:

After the gig I was playing a few records & the girl from Dirty Revolution approached me,I prepared myself for a compliment on my tunes or my good lucks or maybe even a request to take her in the dressing room for rumpy pumpy & she said to me "Who do I see to get the money" sadx

All in all a top night,2 good bands & everyone went home happy.
