At the touch of a button we can watch any video we want to....we can research anyone's name without going to the Library....we can watch Porn....when we want....we can even get Hamster's and Disorder's opinions on Pools!!!! :grin:

Imagine if we had this when we were Kids!!!! confised

Yes....I am confused....imagine it eh?!?!

Is the 'Internet' a good thing????

I ask because I've just been watching the Bairn on MSN....they are all Bitches....'Bullies'....and that's not good!!!! :evil:

Just a thought but has anyone ever known or met someone who actually did have an "eye put out" by a catapult, ball bearing gun, lead pellet, potato gun, pea shooter, toy arrow, a stick, a stone or anything we played with when kids?

Yup! i knew someone! Only one mind!
On that subject someone told me a story about a guy getting a cake shoved in his face on his birthday, nowt the marrer with that, except the cherry,s on the cake where kept in place by cocktail sticks !! and when the said cake was jammed in his face one of the cocktail sticks went straight through his eye !!! ouch :shock:

Knew a lad at school who got a glass eye from a lad messing around with darts . Later I couldn't help but stare at which eye still moved whenever i saw him..Anyone remember clackers ? Catapults were always aimed at greenhouses..

So was the lad messing around with darts selling the glass eyes or giving them away

Didnt have it put out but i got shot in the eye with a bb gun when i was 13, hurt liek fook and me eye swelled up, no long term damage to it though i dont think.
