What a night of fun and entertainment!

Mud were class and did a great job of warming the audience up and it would have being rude of me not to hit the front of the stage asap to do the tiger-feet dance.
T-Rextasy were top notch and the likeness to Marc Bolan was uncanny...
...and as for Slade what can one say? They were quality but as some-one said on here, Slade without noddy Holder is like having Christmas without Santa. Although the lead vocalist Mal McNulty did a cracking job I still feel Noddy is indeed irreplaceable. Dave Hill (not Dave Hill the Pools fans) is a natural entertainer and it was good to see him whip out his "Super Yob" guitar.. but the bloke should perhaps grow up... ha ha.. which is rich coming from someone who was fully Noddied up with leopard platforms, chequered flares, curly wig sideburns and a mirrored top hat.
To the top the night I managed to get one of Don Powell's drumsticks... Rock 'n Roll eh?

NB. No sightings of BBB (but Mr & Mrs Poolymad were spotted) but if BBB reads this pleeeeeeze pm me as I have a cracking photo for you to use as an avatar.

NB [again] Strange how all three acts were minus THE lead vocalists. Mud's Les Gray passed away a few year back, although T-Rextasy were a tribute band, Marc Bolans' last hit was a tree! And of course Noddy Holder is no longer Slade's frontman

I couldn't bring myself to watch something that wasn't "the real thing." I wouldn't be able to put it out of mind, and it would hinder my enjoyment to be honest. If you can put it to one side, then great!!
