It sounds like Rowell was excellent in the centre of midfield second half.

See Mr Wilson they can do it if you give them a go, Tymon next please.

I love cockfingers. Just look at my avatar, what more do you want? I've even bought some Carlsberg export today and had a bacon sarnie. Later I'm going to spill a harmless enough looking long range effort into my own net just out of love for the big man.

I've never rated ALB I just thought he was the lesser of two evils, having seen them both now over a similar amount of games and looked at the facts (we concede less with Budtz in nets) I prefer the cockfingered Dane.

I'm delighted by the radio reporter's assessment of Rowell, even though I think said reporter usually sounds like he's been drinking

players like rowell are the future and the only way pools are ever likely to even be remotely self sufficent.

people like me and mad john have been arguing the case for these kids for ages.

last week the boro had 9 home grown players in their squad of 18 for a premiership game. if they can produce so many good young local players pools should be able to do the same albeit at a lower level.

this season brown, sweeney and robson have been excellent but we need a few more coming through the ranks. the only way to find out if these kids have what it takes is to give them some first team football.

someone like rowell will only benefit from a little run of games.

likewise tymon should be given a few 20 minute cameos at the end of games to see how he fares.

It's also a bonus if they have a good player along side, just like Tommy Miller had Stevo alongside
