if all that's true, then we could see a large amount of animal species disappearing. Interesting that UK and Ireland ministers don't seem to want to know about it. If there's concrete evidence that these chemicals are causing such problems, then short term job losses pale into insignificance - compared to the worst case scenario, as a result of the environment being subjected to continued exposure to these chemicals.
I work for a company which is heavily involved in pioneering genetic engineering, production of life science molecules and proteins, medicines and vaccines - and despite all the clinical trials it's impossible to say with certainty what the long term effects will be of a lot of these new products.
