His dad must be the chairman or his mam chose the award cos he was the worst player on the pitch. He sliced everything, got ripped of sweeney about 10 times and he has a touch like a brick wall

John Hills has allways given a consistant performance when playing for Fleetwood. The only time this tradition was broken was in the first round against Leiston when he did actually play well.MOM my fooking arse, thought we deserved a draw in the end but fair play to Hartlepool they put the ball in the net more than us end of story.Would like to wish you and your club all the very best for the 3rd round and hope you pull a plum draw.Hope you all enjoyed your visit to Codland. clappp clappp

Really enjoyed the visit today. Thanks. The locals were so friendly as well.

And I can say that I have a seen a Blackpool tram.

I tell you what though...I know I'm from the South and all...but is it usually like Siberia-on-Sea ?

As we're called 'codheads' in Hartlepool, surely we must live in Codland...?

The sponsors get to choose man of the match here and today most of them where Blackpool fans as I understand it. His award was greeted with dismay by both sets of supporters and was given purely out of loyalty to a former player rather than performance. Not to put too fine a point on it but Hills has not been a popular player with the codarmy since he signed on here and his efforts today have done nothing to win them over!

Why, did someone build a wall in the middle of the night dividing East and West Hartlepool, and the Communists will rule over East (Old) Hartlepool for 40 years before we re-unify into one single Hartlepool ? clappp

Probably just a heap of drunken bunkerites trying to get home after a night out.
It may have looked like a wall in the dark.

Can't account for the communist angle....something to do with Spender? sctatchinghead
