Well we won which is all that's important in a cup competition but our defending was absolutely appalling yet again, the first goal was one boot straight down the middle of the park that put the lad clean through and with ALB (who was garbage today he simply isn't good enough) stuck in his six yard box like glue and then slipping over it was harder to miss. Then at 3-1 and totally dominating the match we give away another sloppy goal were we get caught square (again). Saying that we were wasteful second half and should have scored 6 or 7. Job done fingers crossed on the draw tomorrow but the daft goals meant we had an edgy last five minutes.

Thought Sweeney played well and the game should of been settled earlier

ALB-4- Stayed on his line despite their striker been through on goal and they scored. 2nd Half could hardly see out but all he seemed to do was flapp at crosses
McCunnie-7- Solid enough
Nelson-7- Good game but fell asleep for their 1st goal
Clark-7- Solid as ever
Robson-7- Average game bit sloppy at times but covered well enough when their striker was in
Sweeney-8- Ran his heart out, got to the barline 5 times and made two goals. Only downside is that he chose the wrong option a few times most particulary when he could of played Mackay through at the end
Humps-6- Bit quiet but ok enough
Liddle-6.5- Bit quiet but got stuck in and passed the ball well enough considering the conditions
Monky-5- Quiet and non existant again
Porter-8- Liveily desereved his goal and often ran at the defenders to create chances
Mackay-8- Scored two could of about 5 ran his heart out and played well and took his chance well

Just want to say these ratings are what the players did infront of the pools end as you simply couldnt see anything at the other end

Overall good game in scrappy conditions and created plenty of chances

Couple of things there thought that Robson played almost as a sweeper at times got behind the centre half's and covered them to clear.

Sweeney agree he made wrong choices at times, could that be due to lack of playing in his correct position of centre midfield.

Surely it is wrong for the majority of our players to get 7 and 8s for just scraping past a non league outfit like Fleetwood?

From what I could see through the fog;

Lee-Barrett- 4
McCunnie- 4
Robson- 6
Clark- 5
Nelson- 2
Sweeney- 7
Monkhouse- 5
Humphreys- 6
Liddle- 4
Porter- 6
Mackay- 8

I was not there but those figures look more accurate to me
