quite funny that greedy buggers should pay the toll. reminds me of working in durham centre i got there before 10 i think when you dont pay and left after 10 when the bollard went down like i gotta summons the cheeky sods, pleaded ignorant with me boss and as far as i know the company paid for it :wink:

A couple of years ago they installed a shitload of those automatic bollards here. Not on bus lanes but to restrict access to the historic centre. You use a swipe card to lower them, wait a couple of seconds for a mini traffic light to change, then advance. The light has already gone back to red by the time you've passed the bollards.
In the first couple of months there were over a hundred vehicles damaged trying to sneak through behind the one in front. And since the light was red they've only themselves to blame

Our bollards are squatter and sturdier than those in the video -- specially designed to take your gearbox out, which is a task they achieve very well!
