My son got this game for his birthday yesterday. He installed it and started playing.

As soon as he went to a match, apparantly the screen started going a bit nuts. Is the match in 3d or something?

Anyway........he says that when he is sorting out his squad, buying players etc the game is ok, but when he goes to a match the game goes a bit nuts.

Help anyone? :uhoh:

tell him to go to preferences and there will be an option to turn the 3d off. That should sort it

I've not come across that one myself as i've had a smoothe installation thankfully.

In future mate if your ever stuck or get problems, go to google, type in si forums and register on there, any problem you've had its likely someone else has, and there are plenty of people on there with solutions.

Also good for scouting young/new players, tactics, training, player pictures, skins, backgrounds etc

Thanks, but what if he wants the 3d on? Can I sort it so that it works?

Where does he finf preferences? I really dont know how to help. Is there an idiots guide?

You should have a row of options along the top of the game, where you click on like manager and stuff, the very end right one, i think it is called options, click on that, go on the drop down menu to preferences, display and sound and it should be in there.

I can't explain unfortunatly, brand new laptop myself so it was ok.

If you register on that forum, have a look on the general questions, or bug forums and put a message on there, someone will help, the people who make the game post on there so they will be able to offer support.

Can anyone explain why the 3d isnt working properly? Its a brand new laptop so it should work ok surely?

It is a bit slow to load on mine but I dont use it as its shit anyway. Is it a good laptop?

There is an option in preferences to remove the sky from the 3d match. Sounds daft but will make it load a bit quicker.

Depending on the laptop itself it may not have a graphics card that has the correct specifications for the game.

Spec for game:
* Windows XP / Vista
* 1.4GHz processor for XP or 2.0 GHz for Vista
* 512MB RAM for XP or 1GB RAM for Vista
* Graphic Card - 128MB Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra, ATI Radeon 9800, Intel 82915G/82910GL or better.

Chances are your brand new laptop doesnt have a decent graphics card that can handle it. Therefore making the game go dodgy
