I'll be going, especially as the club had reduced prices to £10 to stand.

I won't be happy if they allow a team who has just travelled about 1500 miles in the space of a couple of days turn us over tonight. All the conditions are in our favour - cold north east night, hardly any away fans, stereotype southern softies in opposition - they have three players ruled out through their parent clubs not wanting them cup-tied. Come on Pools, show the will to win and get some crunching tackles going in early doors and show them we want it more!!!

Brighton had one attack in the first half and put it away well. We had lots of possession but created little clear cut although a Robson cross hit the post. Second half we battered them. Joel won a penalty after being barged over and her converted. Liddle got the winner win a low drive after great work from Sweeney. Brighton came back at us and could have grabbed a leveller.
But Nelson, Clark and Sweeney in particular were superb. Humphreys had a poor game and was subbed.
Matty was excellent as was Joel.
