i would like to think of my self as a man's man, however i can honestly say after reading the reports of this story today i had a tear in my eye the pain his child must of been in i would not wish on anyone. what sort of a person would put a baby through that- i'm honestly devastated!!!

Totally agree with you. It's absolutely shocking and heads should roll.

By that I mean not only in Haringay social services but within the government, those who had letters sent to them from the concerned Haringay worker.

But, and I know this may seem hard, Just what was the father doing ?

He appeared on tv yesterday saying how much he loved baby P and how he used to run to him whe he went to see him.

So just when was the last time he visited him, why did he not ask questions, yes I know the social workers are responsible to a point, and this is not in support of them, but the child was a bit of a stranger to them. He far from that to the father who supposedly loved him with all his heart. He , of all people should have noticed a change in him.

Why was he no longer running to him?

Why if he had been stopped from visiting did he not ask the B******s who were looking after him, why he was not being allowed to see him.

I'm not apportioning the blame on the father but he needs to ask himself some questions.

More to the point why has he now come forward ?

I have my own answer to that question, but I'm not going to put what I believe it to be. This may already seem a harsh post.

i have not read the reports - not that i want to ignore it, or avoid getting upset, but just because i could never understand why

the headline says it all as did the poor buggers face in the press

simple - fookin kill them - £1000 a week to look after for ever and some -

It is the most sickening story I have seen in many years.

Words fail me to be honest.

It's so bad I try an avoid the stories on the news BBC website.

One nutter is bad enough but how does the mother and lodger stand by and not do something about it.
