I know Chip has crusaded this on a number of occasions but 'football' needs to wake up to the fact that 'folk' cannot afford the prices week in week out.

I agree, I am not prepared to put my finances att risk to watch a few football games a week. its far too costly! in the space of 2 weeks you could rack up £400 just watching your team play. madness. bring the players wages down and bring the gate costs down too.

spot on!!! It should be your birthright to watch your team - you shouldn't be priced out!!!

I think you'll find all Brighton matches are all ticket. The toffs near to the tip they play at hate the thought of football near where they live and I am sure a condition of playing there means that all games are all ticket.

Brightons crowds have been well down this year. The ground is a disgrace and when it rains, you get peed on as a home or away fan. That combined with them paying £18 (pools fans paid £16) for the privilege clearly made the minds up of alot of folk to stay at home.

Brighton have now been away from the goldstone ground for over 10 years. There new ground is not due to be ready till 2011 banghead no wonder the fans are voting with their feet.

Brighton fans can welcome to the board as far as I'm concerned, bounders the lot, as is their full back Tommy Elphick

What year did the FA Cup officially lose its charm? Its a crying shame, in the 70's fans used to take more away for these games than in the league.Where did it all go wrong?. As much as they try to jazz it up, the FA Cup is a non event these days.SHAME!!!
