(maybe thats why they call it a mayfly, cause it might not have time to learn)

There was something on telly the other night (Coast?) saying that they've fished mussels or some kind of bivalve that are over 200 years old? They can count growth rings in the shell like tree rings apparently. What a long existence for such a boring animal.

...remeber it's the average age ...not the maximum age.....a little bit of mathematical pedantry there.
