I thought this board was better

But guess not.

Some posters have adopted the "rivals" way of bouncing posts back to the top, just to make a point.

For example "cheerio Wilson", "Anybody making banners for Tuesday"
"Who is going to make a flag next home game then" and "Wilson out".

Now although I may have disagreed with some of them the people making them believed they had a valid opinion, at the time. Both Wilson and the players have managed to turn things round and possibly get those posters to change their minds. But to bounce them back to the top to try and prove something is ,in my opinion, a negative response, other words could be used but I will stick with negative.

What next do the "Wilson out" brigade start to bounce the positive posts for the team and Wilson back to the top if we have another bit of a bad run to prove their point, ensuing we have a never ending circle of posts being brought back to the top just so points against the opposite set of fans can be made.

This board is better than that, and if that begins to occur on a regular basis,I'm pretty sure some of the more sensible debates that occur will slowly grind to a halt, and this board will go down the path of "rivals" were to be honest it almost dead on it's feet.

By all means discuss the pro's and Con's of any game or point that people feel need to discuss but lets not go down the "bouncing back to the top post" road.

Just my opinion.

Mr Bob I think you'll find it's one person in particular that is guilty of what you say and I have good reason to believe action has already been taken. :wink:

I take your point, Mr Head, as I had decided not to bother to read the posts which had been "bounced back up" I didnt know the "culprit(s), involved.

But if action has been taken then that is only a good thing in my opinion.

I can understand some people may not read the board, and post reguarly and on occassions posts will be brought back up,I dont have a problem with that , my problem is as already stated in the original post on this thread.

Agree with everything there Bob.

No one knows whats going to happen in the future, so chewing them and showing them up over what they said in the past is unfair.

You may not like peoples opinions but you have to recpect them

Agreed totally. Full of smarmy not nice people who darent give their own opinions.
