Discovered on you tube after watching some old 'Fantasy Football League' clips of when they featured Bolton club commentator Dave Higson;

4:58 in for Bolton 1 Pools 2, I was at the game and remember the winner vividly Paul Proudlock's header hit the bar and Saville knocked in the rebound ;

that was the day we went joint top - and Bruce Rioch slammed Pools players for celebrating - another manager in the Denis Smith mould who hated Pools.

Was an exile in them days, we seemed to do well away and struggle at home, it was a great time to be an exile, winning at Preston, Bolton , WBA etc.

I was also there that day and remember Rioch saying how 'disrespectful it was of the Hartlepool players to sing in the changing room after the game', what a plank.

Dean Emmerson was an intergral part of that side,one of the best midfielders we've had at the club.
