Just been scanning the radio stations and I heard a voice on Radio 5 live sport (digital), I though it sounded like Danny Wilson & it turns out it is him. He's the summariser in the Chelsea v Hull game.
Obviously looking at a job outside of management.

He sounded a lot more relaxed and personable than when doing Pools interviews, probably understandable as he was a neutral in this case. For a summariser he got a lot of air time, not just brief interludes when something exciting happened.

Talking about summarisers and co., I switched over to Sky Sports News last night in case there were any football matches on. As it happens there weren't. There were just some premiership games.

So the link man says "let's go across to the Reebok where I believe there's been a chance".
Then this guy comes on who is at the stadium, watching the game which is nearing its end and is at 0-0, and excitedly describes the missed chance in detail.

And I'm thinking to myself, how fookin' irrelevant can you get? Absolutely surreal.
About as relevant as "let's go across to Clavering where I hear ADG has just missed the kebab van."

Pools should realise Danny Wilson is well respected in the game that why he is doing 'Punditary' for 5 Live
