According to Radio Tees Carlisle are playing with just Danny Graham up front - no wonder Ward is getting the sack tomorrow!

If any team had watched Pools, or even heard about us, they would know we are very vulnerable under pressure. So to play one up front is playing into our hands - cushty thrilled

it doesn't seem real somehow- that first half at Walsall was the lowest ebb of the season and looking like six games without a win, but fair play to them all, as they are now playing to their potential. That was all we asked!!!!

make hay while the sun shines!!! Orient look one of the weakest sides in the league, they haven't got players as good as Carlisle for instance, and I think tonight's game looked far more difficult than the prospect of going to Orient at the weekend.
It finally looks like Pools have started to grow that backbone and look capable of shutting up shop - I'm far more pleased with that than anything else right now!! Well done to the players and to the management for (hopefully) proving a lot of us wrong. Let's keep it up Pools.

Terrific result, healthy position now.

In exactly the same place now in terms of League ascent as 2006-07 promotion season, when we were struggling until October, and then the unbeaten run started in november and carried on til we got promoted.
Wasn't worried in second half by thought of Carlisle eqalsiing - like Saturday wasn't in doubt.
And four games after some of us here were giving Wilson his P45, we now find ourselves back in love with him, although I never doubted Wilson's abilities from the start, just requires a little faith.
Came back after Millwall miserable thinking this season would be a wipout now we are only 6 pts off the top and 2 pts behind promotion favourites like Leeds and Leicester.
One senses this winning run could be a pivotal moment in our season if it continues.

ORIENT HERE I COME ! clappp

They were excellent tonight, after a slow opening 20 they dominated the game. Clark might aswell have played midfield on his own tonight, espically first half. Carlisle had plenty of the ball just did nothing with it. Another solid game from Kyle, Joel had a mare. Barret was solid, he didnt have much to do but what he did he did without any hicups and made a good save with his legs late from point blank range. Solid, if uninspiring win! Well done Pools!
