ALB 6- One straight forward save to make but at least he made it, stayed on his line too often late on though putting us under pressure.

Sweeney 7; Great shift, is going to get caught defensively at times as he isn't a full back but you can't really knock him for that.

Collins 6; An improvement on recent weeks but has to be the least vocal captain we've ever had.

Nelson 7; Much better than recent weeks but lets be honest they weren't really up against anything

Humphreys 7; Another who had a much improved game.

Brown 8; Should have scored but his best game this season on the right wing. I have to raise one issue- his alice band. Now although he has the ability to pull off such an item and I know yesterday was windy but howay man James Brilliant for the goal.

Jones 7;Should have scored as well and put the game to bed but a very hard working performance.

Clark 9; Best player on the pitch, broke up play and passed the ball very, very well. What I like for a defensive midfielder he isn't just a backwards and sideways merchant he actually looks for positive passes.

Monkhouse 6; Not playing very well in the last week or so but kept going, I'd have brought Matty on but I can why Wilson didn't with us 1-0 up.

Kyle 8; Another great performance from the big man, I heard yesterday we have him until January I hope it's true.

Porter 8; He's playing better than he ever has for us at the moment, a class apart.

Brighton were garbage, in better conditions we'd have done them 3 or 4 but a more solid performance, helped by the negative tactics they adopted. Hopefully the clean sheet can give confidence to the whole side going two winnable away games. Things are looking up.
