'We are not far away from getting it right and when we do there will be a team who will get a bit of a pummelling,'' [Wilson] told the Hartlepool Mail.
''You can't keep playing like we are doing and not taking chances on a regular basis. We are creating lots of chances and we have to take heart from that.''

Great, but just exactly how does this address our main problem?

We've only conceded 6 goals in 5 away games this season yet we've only scored in one of those games, in fact we've scored a pitiful 12 goals in almost a year away from home. No matter how tight our back four was away from home you still wouldn't pick up many points with that goal return.

Our problem is not our defence or attack, it's our away form full stop.

Wilson gets a good result from time to time, the majority think we've turned the corner and then ...nothing...he's like a swimmer swimming from rock to rock who always finds one just in time to save him from drowning.

He was in the desert building light houses the other day now he's swimming from rock to rock. Don't miss the next episode to find out our hero's next means of escape.

Super dooper this poetic turn of phrase mind.

And I hope his next means of escape is a 4-0 win at Walsall

I always think a nice little analogy saves a time.
