Bloody rubbish.

How come nearly all of the close-ish away games are put on a Tuesday night instead of a Saturday when more people would attend? I'm not gonna trail down to Southend or Orient whether we play them on a weekend or midweek but I would go to the likes of Carlisle and Huddersfield on a Saturday afternoon. It's not just a Pools thing either, it's some national policy cos if you look at other teams fixtures it's across the board.

Plus, why do they schedule Football League midweek games for the same weeks as European games? There are loads of Tuesdays in the year to pick from yet they nearly always clash? OK, the likes of us on here will go to Pools home games instead of watching Man U on the telly, but for the "floating fans" who the club want to attract that might not be the case. Surely scheduling to avoid clashes would suit everybody?
