I cannot believe this predictable, crude, rubbish is being shown in the US as a beacon of British comedy it's embarrassing. Did they write it on the plane over? Lazy, garbage. That bad I got half way through the second episode without laughing once then switched it off.

On the other hand I've seen the last couple of Harry & Paul and they've been brilliiant, the best stuff Harry Enfield has done since about 1990! I suppose it's the best stuff he's done since he last worked with Paul Whitehouse. The Dragons Den Spoof is absolute genius and the Henley Northerner Show from Friday's was rolfl

Little Britain?

Everyone has different taste when it comes to comedy I know but you can see every punchline or visual gag coming a mile off, they've surely only done this for the money as the format has clearly run it's course.

Mike – “Hello Dragons, I’m looking for am investment of £450m to take a 100% control.”

Dragons – “What are you selling?”

Mike – “I am trying to give people in a town hope, to stop people walking the streets in shirt sleeves, to take their minds off having no jobs, so they can eat a proper meal & hope to make them talk in a language people can understand.”

Dragons – “Is this town in Nigeria?”

Mike –“No Its Newcastle”

The Dragons “HA HA HA, F#@K OFF!”

Both programmes (Enfield/Whitehouse & Walliams/Lucas) heavily feature sketches which essentially repeat the same jokes again & again each week (e.g. the author: 'have you read....?' & Fatfighters 'I can't understand a word she's saying') so I'm intrigued that opinions are so divided about the 2.

Also, can anyone explain to me the joke about keeping a pet Northerner?
