I know there was the 'incident' which made Ben Clark an all time Pools legend but I reckon whether that had happened or not Scott would have gone after that Blackpool shambles.

He went because of results, had we been in the top six and that incident had happened we wouldn't have heard anything of it.

Despite all the usual childish rumours - 'he shagged the chairman's daughter/sister/dog' - Neale Copper was sacked on form. The team had been utter garbage since christmas, we looked like missing out on the play-offs - Cooper was sacked.

If we look like we are not going to be relegated then Wilson will be given until the summer I reckon. If we look like being relegated then I believe he will be gone early in he new year.

I always believe that, almost irrespective of who it is, the longer you give a manager the better things get.

However our fantastic stream of youth being given a chance has ground to a halt. Michael Rae was given no sort of chance. Johnny Rowell is not being given a chance despite the Boland injury and Liddle's stinking form. Tymon is not in the squad enough.

The treatment of Richard Barker this season is the final straw for me. People might like the style that the team play when he is on or not- but he does score goals. Instead we jettison him so we can pay double the wages for a player who scores rarely, has a dreadful history with injury and who would only sign for us if he proved to be finished. Nice one.

Time for Wilson to go in the summer for me if the team does not progress ie higher in the league than last year with some of the talented youth being blooded.

Sorry PDE but this is simply not true. He was not sacked on form. There are other reasons which many of us cannot discuss for legal reasons but form is definately not the reason!

He walked out of Hartlepool with a frigging big knife sicking out of his back. Signed by several of our 'senior' players.

I don't think Barron/Humphreys allegedley complaining that the manager is sometimes late and smells of booze is a state secret.

The sacking had a lot more to do with figures from his last 13 games of w3 d3 l7. He had utterly lost the dressing room. People on here praying for him back only shows people remember what they want to remember.

Martin scott's last 13 games are more or less identical w2 d3 l8 but i don't hear any shouts for the return of the chuckle brother.

This turning of Neale Cooper's time at Pools into a hagiography is not justified.

And as for Grave pretending he knows more than we do, that's just sad attention seeking. I've been sat at the same table as two members of the club's top heirarchy when they were so drunk they didn't know their own names. i pressed them for a reason for the sacking. Beyond alleged fondness for a drink and having lost the dressing room there is no secret. We made a play-off that we were unlikely to make with NC in charge.

I love to see a man stick up for his mate/self. Do you never get bored with this double identity crap?

I love to see people so dumb they still believe this. Do you really not think Admin would have picked up on the fact by now through IPs etc?

Let's not forget Coopers rather emotional reaction in the post match interview just befor ehe left, where he said results like this can get you the sack, ... or do players get you the sack, .... if they don't do the business....?

Even that will be too late.

The club need to be decisive at an early enough stage to rescue this season before it's too late.

More importantly for the money men at the club they need to do something before the crowds drop right off. I for one am rapidly losing interest with DW in charge cos I know that we're going nowhere. Cold and wet night matches in the next couple of months will see crowds of less than 3k if Wilson is still manager.

for any players to do that in a game, and make the fans suffer - they deserve sacking as well.
I sincerely hope that wasn't the case that day against Walsall, but it certainly casts a huge shadow over those players in a HUFC shirt that day

Hagiography (IPA: /hægi'ɒgrəfi/) is the study of saints. A hagiography, from Greek (h)ağios (ἅγιος, "holy" or "saint") and graphē (γραφή, "writing"), refers literally to writings on the subject of such holy people, and specifically the biographies of ecclesiastical and secular leaders. The term hagiology, the study of hagiography, is also current in English, though less common. (This in fact follows original Greek practice, where ἁγιογραφία refers to visual images of the saints, while their written lives (βίοι or vitæ) or the study thereof are known as ἁγιολογία.)

Though Christian hagiographies focus on the lives, and notably the miracles of men and women canonized by the Christian Church, other religions such as Buddhism and Islam also create and maintain hagiographical texts concerning saints and other individuals believed to be imbued with the sacred.

The term "hagiographic" has also come to be used as a pejorative reference to the works of those contemporary biographers and historians whom critics perceive to be uncritical and even "reverential" in their writing.
