alb 8 : excellent throughout. despite what that fookwit 'tree with small penis says', he is improving all the time.

humphreys 5 : sponsors MOM, but they'd been on the ale since 1. looks so much better getting forward.

nelson/collins 6 : identikit performances. some great challenges and some spannerfoot shite. collins in particular needs to forget about playing football and concentrate on defending.

mccunnie 5 : shits his pants when someone runs at him. decent distribution but occasionally hesitant when there's a chance to knock it in.

sweeney 6 : dreadful first half where nothing went right. credit to him that he dug in, got his goal and improved.

jones 8 : MOM for me. growing into that position, excellent passing and link up play. add a touch more steel to his play and he's a legend in the making.

liddle 4 : shite from start to finish with one or two passes that rose above that. i rate the lad, but he will not ffokin shoot when presented with a chance.

monkey 7: utter garbage in the first half, uninterested and casual. scored his goal and looked up for the scrap. unlucky to go off.

brown 7 : he absolutely terrifies teams. so unlucky not to win a penalty in the first half, and personally i thought it a strange one to bring him off.

porter 7 : another one who had a superb second half after fannying about in the first. close to MOM just for his second half 30 minute cameo.

SUBS :

Foley 3 : Sorry, not an asset at all.

Mackay/Barker 5 : Little time or service to make an impression.

A last word goes to Lee Hughes and Sean Gregan. They got non-stop abuse (from me) during the game, but cam into the pools bar for a pint (mebbe not the best idea for hughesy) and a bit of crack. signed some autographs and had their photos taken with poolies. fair play to them, we don't see enough of that.

I agree Aido - Jones should have been MotM, he was excellent again - although he was shattered at the end he still kept running. I think we have unearthed a gem there. clappp

Our back four struggled today but they are a good side. Hughes bullied our centre halfs until he went off and we got turned a bit too easy at times. Great game though - hats off to both sides

A bit harsh on Liddle there i think Aido, I thought he put in a canny shift, he harried their players and made some great forward runs
