Juries will be reintroduced from 2009 to...that mischevious European singing television competition some people love to hate.

Also we have kept our automatic place in the Grand Final as one of the Big Four

Hopefully this should help us now see clearly whether it is the public vote that is depriving a song of winning in 2009.
This was the decision that was needed - mixture of the classic system and modern system.

The BBC now needs to encourage as many good acts and songwriters as possible to compete for the British nomination to Moscow.

And people reckoned that there wasn't anybody interested in this competition and what's happened in the modern - Mr Lightening Tree, you've just proved that theory wrong !
