There is no problem with funds but a quick glance at the number of big wage (relatively) players we have on the books should explain where all of that money went. It wasn't a fluke that we broke the wages ceiling when we came down.

a football director would have had that sorted when we came down

not just stumble across it once the season tickets were sold
