J Spaceman

J Spaceman is set to embark on a rare acoustic 9-date tour of the UK this autumn. The dates will showcase some of the songs from the forthcoming album as well as tracks from the Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized catalogues and songs from other artists. He will be accompanied on all dates by a string quartet, gospel singers and Spiritualized guitarist Doggen on Fender Rhodes.

Spaceman (aka Jason Pierce of Spiritualized) has also resumed work mixing the follow-up to the hugely successful Top 5 album, 'Amazing Grace', which was halted last year due to serious illness. The new album, due for release in early 2007, is described by Spaceman as being 'the work of the devil……with a little guidance from me.'
