Get rid of this clown now before it's too late, I've had mixed opinions about Wilson, I thought we'd turned the corner a few weeks ago when we had a good week, and what a good week it was 12 goals, 3 wins things were looking good but we've done nothing since and this last week has finally convinced me that Danny Wilson hasn't got what it takes.
He's worse than Martin Scott, todays game confirms that, Barnet were another poor team and we were worse by the end.
Don't get me wrong we had our moments, we had 2 goals disallowed, which looked ok to me, at the start of the second half it looked as if we were getting it together, we were creating chances, the crowd were in good voice and it looked as though we'd go on to win it. Pools seemed to take a bit of a breather for a while then just as we started to build it up again SuperDan decides to take off Jon Daly, he hadn't been brilliant but he'd done ok, we all assumed he must have taken a knock so he was going to be replaced by Eiffion Williams, fair enough we should still be ok, except it wasn't Willo was it Dan, no it was Bullock the Bollock, the most ineffective footballer in the history of ineffective footballers!!!
Never mind, the new lad was starting to get a bit more involved now, and we seem to have stopped booting it into the air for him so now he's getting it played to his feet, hang on SuperDan's gonna make another substitution, it'll probably be Eiffion coming on to help him up front, but it wasn't Willo was it Dan (have we been here before), no it was, wait for it ......... Comical Ali Gibb, yes Ali Gibb the winger, oh well at least he'd be able to put in some good crosses for our big forward line, wait a minute, we've just removed our forward line, what will we do, easy bring big David Foley in from the wing, all 4 foot nowt of him !
Now I've never been a big fan of Big Foley due to his lack of 'bigness' but I'm prepared to eat humble pie and say he's been very impressive this season and today I thought he played really well, out wide, but as soon as we brought him into the middle he struggled against their big centre halves, and now he didn't have as much space to to take the ball and run at their defence, still he still looked as though he could get us something.
Of course as each needless substitution was made Pools went down a further step towards total sh1tness, Bullock contributed nothing and looked more like a frightened rabbit caught in car headlights than a footballer, Ali Gibb put in a couple of good crosses, good for their keeper that is !
SuperDan decides to have one last throw of the dice and finally put another striker on to help Big Dave up front but 'whoops a buttercup', Barnet have only gone and took advantage of us playing with only 9 men (you see you can't count Bullock and Gibb 'cos they contributed as much as they did when they were still sitting on the bench) and they've took the lead.
Still there's about 10 mins left so SuperDan decides to still throw Willo on to help out Big Dave, the crowd voice their approval when they see Willo waiting to come on then suddenly realise that he's gonna take Big Dave off for the Welshman, for fecks sake man what the hell are you thinking.
The crowd breaks into a chant of 'You dont know what you're doing' I joined in without hesitation, I mean come on, all season we've struggled to score goals, so the manager takes off all of our strikers replaces them with a winger and a bollock and then waits until we've gone a goal down before bringing on a striker he suddenly notices was sitting on the bench.
A few choruses of 'Wilson out' soon followed then petered out, but they'll grow louder and more frequent if things don't change soon.
We should've beat darLOW last week, Doncaster were a class above us but we should have still done much better than the pathetic efforts we put in against them on Wednesday and today we were doing okay until the 'Manager' started making needless substitutions and reducing any chances we had of taking the points each time he made one, it's been a very, very poor week, don't forget a lot of people said at this stage last year that we were too good to go down, a lot of people said at the start of this season that we were too good to STAY down, don't believe anyone that says we are too good to go down again or that we are better than the Macclesfields, Bostons or Barnets of this division, we've played them all and only got 4 points from them, get rid of Wilson before it's TOO LATE !!!
