So have we finally stopped being soft touches, and added some steel to our play. Number of times I've seen us kicked off the pitch. Not sure whether it a compliment or not. rolfl rolfl rolfl

The Humphreys tackle wasn't even a foul. The Liddle one was unlucky in that he wasn't even trying to tackle the lad he caught, the Stockport player ran across as Liddle was trying to block the lad with the ball.

Who is this goon!?

The Humphreys yellow card was laughable if my memory serves me right.

Was Humphreys not the one who was fouled, then had the Stockport player start of him....then get a yellow?

I thought the Liddle tackle deserved a yellow as it was clumsy.

And the Sweeney, I can't even remember it or was that the Liddle one I'm getting it confused with. sctatchinghead

There is a mild obsession with Stockport County fans regarding fans at the game. We all know there can be a little discrepancies regarding the away attendance, but we all know that 900 is a little over-zealous.

Yeah, I'd noticed

Up until around 18 months agao there were only around nine County fans who regularly travelled to away games. This relatively new phenomenum is clearly still very exciting to the new additions to the Stockport "massive", and consequently they are among the most enthusiastic exaggerators, and amongst the easiest to wind up

I think there may be a little more than 'nine', but a lot more than visited The Vic on saturday, I think that for a very small club, we have a superb away following, but to suggest we had 900 at The Vic?

Over the last few seasons, County have regularly been the best supporters to visit the Vic. Though they have never travelled in large numbers (that 400 on Saturday is the best turnout in years) they have been far more vocal than much larger followings. I've said many times that they are a credit to the game. Backed their team throughout, win or lose.

All nine of them

In all honesty, whilst we are in entend cordiale mode, Pools fans who made the journey last time at EP (when we let you back in after being three nil down - I'm sure you'll remember that...!) were also a credit to your club, I work matchdays at EP and mosty of you guys were very pleasant.

I also have family members who are poolies, so I have always harboured a soft-spot for you guys...!
