Had his worst game in a Pools shirt yesterday.

I'm starting to get concerned by his lack of progress, I rate him and like him as player but it's about time he stood up and did something significant in a game.

He has most things in his locker but he needs dropping to remove him from his comfort zone.

He has been poor this season but thought he did better than first 3 games today. If you ask me he is too weak. Seems to have no strength whatsoever and im still unsure what he is? Attacking midfielder or defensive? Doesnt seem either and wondering if right back may suit him best.

He is not a midfielder, he is too good to drop, stick him at right back!!!!

Sorry ADG, I normally agree with you but thats a bit bollocks tbh. The side are playing 'ok' and only getting mixed results. I fail to see how that means Liddle must be doing ok. We got some results early last season with Butterfingers in goal yet he was shite. Liddle is going backwards, i think we are coaching the ability out of him as we did with Antwi last season. (Started off looking like the dogs but ended up looking mediocre)

it makes you wonder what is going on at the training ground............Liddle looked a dynamic player 2 seasons ago, and the way he stroked that free kick in at Grimsby I thought we had another 10-15 goal a season midfielder on our hands. He'll be lucky to get 3 or 4 now.

aye - that's the point!!! He has gone from a player who looked the business, to one who simply can't finish when he gets his chances. He had more glaring misses last season at crucial times in games, which became the turning points!!! The one v Colchester didn't matter, but it was still an awful miss.
What's happened to him?

or Tinkler or Stepho. Both of those were class players who dominated the centre of the park, especially Tinkler.
