Scottish and Southern Energy who also own Atlantic Electricity and Gas are putting gas prices up by 29% and electricity prices by 19%. This will be announced officially to the stock exchange and media tomorrow although some details have already been leaked.

The other 3 energy companies who have yet to announce rises (NPower, E-On and Scottish Power) are expected to announce huge rises also in the near future.......

British Gas and EDF Energy increased prices considerably in the last month or so.
