In 'Lamp' tonight, enjoyed the gig, a lot infact.

Salty is a bloody awesome fella. Told me a lot about you lot - you know wo i mean- that i'll not forget in a long time.

Richard M. Head, didnt realise you were that big!!!

This lot of Bore lads are really nice, only flaw i have is that they are from bore, so, techniccally the are shite apart from Salty!!!

Overall, great night with Idot Savant enjoyed with me and my lady!!

Really enjoyed my night, shame they are all from Bore really.

An unbiased report back from the Brighton gig by our singer Roy Weird was that Idiot Savant were brilliant a great band to listen to and watch.

So well done.

it was mental when Roy introduced himself to me and called me Salty! I was confused to say the least

nice chap though and he bought a job lot of cd's!

Brighton was definately the highlight for us, I loved the place itself wouldn't mind living there...and the gig was best of the lot too.
Southampton undeniably the worst,horrible place and a shite crowd....culdn't get out of there quick enough!

Meeting Chinny and his mrs was great too and had a good laugh that night with mad lasses from 'ull with their ugly boyfriends.....

Wrecked now like, got totally wankered yesterday... :roll:

.....how I stayed stood nevermind play is beyond me....must've been pissed auto pilot or summat.

Despite it's negative image on this board, I like Brighton - always got lots going on, some odd shops and eateries. Loads of music venues too. I like Cambridge as well for the same reasons and have to admit to liking the Headland back in Hartlepool especially for its bleakness in the winter. :shock:

We play Brighton a fair bit as Roy lives there & I think he's going to try & get us a gig at the Freebutt.

Southampton's nothing special - I used to go down there very regularly as my girlfriend at the time was at the university there. The uni & the events it put on was ok. I remember the band (Wooden Lion) supported Hawkwind in Southampton.

Just clicked on your link to Myspace site Senoir Salty and listened to Last Tab, Now Then Now Then and Emillio (whatever it was called).
Good tunes I must say.
And you toured with Archie Bronson Outfit and the Bunnymen?
My favourite track was Now Then - aided of course by the finest drumming

we played gigs with said bands as opposed to tours mind, also played with the kooks [yuk] + the holloways [yuk] if it means owt to anyone...neither my cuppa, d'astro still remain my favourite band we've gigged with oh! and peggy sue and the pirates! class in a glass them
