We think we have problems with our 'crowd'. Only 1434 saw the Daggers fine win on Saturday.

This is not having a go at the Daggers Steve it's a dig at the football league but I saw the goals from your game on Saturday and the goals you scored belonged in a pub game. Chester's defending was abysmal, one of them was embarrassing it was that bad! My point being is this shower that is Chester are already almost safe from relegation because of the league's ridiculously harsh points deductions. It's a farce the fourth division this season.

The first goal was an excellent free kick, no keeper is saving.
2nd a penalty, and 3rd another free kick, which we've all seen go in in the past, where the keeper waits for an attacker to connect with the ball, none do and it ends up going in the back of the net.

Yes, the other 3 were shocking on Chester behalf.


It will be a strange season in League 2, as effectivly the relegation places are reserved already. Certainly in Luton's case, who need to put in a championship winning season just to survive.
So it does make sense for the smaller clubs to keep the purse strings tight, doesn't it? Is there anything wrong with that? Surely good business sense.

it makes the competitiveness of the league very poor - and it will be difficult for those mid-table/lower half sides to raise their game when they have a big Cup tie - because half of the season is just spent going through the motions.
There is a balance to be drawn between punishing sides, and turning the league into a farce. The Football League have NO idea where that balance lies. They only deducted a meagre total from Chesterfield's points tally in comparison to what they're doing to teams now. We suffered as a direct result of that, and Chesterfield were allowed to be promoted, despite cheating!!!
They have no consistent standards, it's gone from one extreme to the other!!!
