With two home games in four days Pools have lowered prices for tomorrow's night game against Scunthorpe (standing £13 seating £15). Hopefully this will attract some of the missing fan's from Saturday and help the team to put on a performance, hopefully, somewhere near what was achieved on Saturday.

It's as they say the crowd can be the 12th man so we need to turn out and get behind, whatever starting 11 are put on the pitch. Then we need to continue to do that throughout the season and help to turn the Vic into some kind of fortress, where away teams, regardless of who they are, dread coming.

I, personally would like to see the same starting 11 as Saturday, but with Monkhouse carrying a slight injury then that may not be possible, and of course Wilson may decide to "rest players". Why ?? after only one game is beyond me but if it keeps players fit and suspension free later in the season for important league games, I can accept that.

Though the one position I wouldnt change is the 'keeper , that position needs to be as consistent as possible, and I dont rate Budtz, anyway.

It may also be beneficial after the way he played on Saturday to leave Boland out,( not completely put him on bench) just to keep him fairly sharp for Tranmere, he is after all now 33, and we saw last season that at times his legs don't seem to last the full 90 minutes. Hopefully he will make me eat them words as the season goes on.

So with those couple things in mind my team for tomorrow would be.

ALB

Sweeney
Collins
Nelson
Humphries

Jones
Liddle
Power
Robson

Brown
Porter

Subs
Budtz
Rowell
Barker
Boland
McCunnie
