On Wednesday night Huddersfield played Arsenal for the Herbert Chapman Trophy!!!! :grin:

Now why don't Pools and others organise something along the same lines....The Brian Clough Trophy???? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

It could be us (1st Team he Managed....FORGET IT....Just found this!!!! banghead banghead banghead banghead

Why dont we have a little knockout tournament with Pools, Darlo, Bishop Auckland, Billingham Synners, Billingham Town, York, Gateshead etc

price it right like £7 adults & £3 kids and it would be well worth attending.

Both good ideas by the way. We could always join the existing Brian Clough Trophy along with Brighton - or maybe even Leeds :wink:

Why ? Because Pools are Pools, couldnt organise a Pi*s up in a brewery. We should of told Sunderland to feck off when they offered to send their selectXI down to our centenary tournemant ,what an insult , made even worse by the fact they still beat us. Why did the mags play at Doncaster on the same weekend??????????????????????

Gateshead actually beat near enough the same team Sunderland sent down to us 4-2.

Because they did and we played the mags the week before

I know it's hard to fathom, but Pools were let down not once, but twice by some very big clubs, leaving them with few options

Or perhaps Liverpool, Manure, Everton and Chelski should have dropped all of their pre arranged matches to dig us out of the shite caused by OTHER teams.....
