Name him then?

And the things he said?

Otherwise i don;t see the point in even posting that message to be honest.

Ahhh yes provett.

Offered a deal with us, turned it down, then wanted it again?

Was a good shot stopper, but struggled with catching in the same way budtz did, was replaced between the sticks by dimi and rightly so, most people agreed with was the right change too.

Jim Provett wasn't good enough. I mean, he got us into the play-offs and won games single-handedly ... but what else did he do?

who was at Bristol City away, our first season after promotion under Cooper???

Anyone who was there will know what I'm talking about, when I say it's a fact we should have been heavily beaten there (at least 5 or 6 goals) but Provett was out of this world, and amazingly we got a draw

i Followed Blyth Spartans for a season or two, and come across a few ex pro's and a few old poolies still knocking about, Ingram, Clarke, Knowles.
Knowles was a favourite player of our young-uns when he was a little-un so he was well chuffed to be playing against him.
