PostPosted: Thu Aug 07, 2008 3:18 pm
Good Afternoon,

Just to let you know, Ian Butterworth will be live on BBC Tees this evening (Thursday) talking about the forthcoming season, along with Brian Arrundale (BBC Tees Pools reporter) and a fan.

Please get in touch with your questions for the assistant manager, call us on 01642 225511. BBC Tees Sport is on from 6-8 this evening.

Then on Saturday we'll be live at The Vic for Pools v Colchester, so give us a call when you leave the game with your thoughts. All the build up starts at 2pm, Saturday on 95FM and DAB Digital Radio.

Thanks,

James Mountford, BBC Tees Sport

Ian Butterworth is on BBC Sport right now if you want to listen to him talking about our coming play-off place.

That wasn't very nice ADG.

What did he do to deserve that ?

He's only come on here to let us know Butterworth was on, then you are telling him to welcome to the board !!!!!

I heard part of the second half of the Smogloid friendly the other night and the bias towards the Boro was nothing short of embarrassing. Alistair Brownlee knocking one out over the airwaves while poor Ray could barely get a word in. I dislike Darlington FC was a passion but it was that bad I was having unnatural urges like wanting DARLO to score just to hear the blokes reaction. For all we know they might of and he just kept it quite with some more "Magic Johnson" hyperbole. He even suggested (being serious) that Darlo could become Boro's feeder club, If I was Ray Simpson he'd have been wearing a meat and potato pie before the sentence ended. Does this fooker not remember when was he commentating when Boro were playing at the level Pools are now in front of similar crowds? He was probably too busy knocking one out.

That's how the Boro (and Brownlee) make me feel I am sticking up for the Loids FFS.

I'm off to confession.
