I would never EVER (that's a FACT) let him anywhere near the England setup after the jumped up little tosser decided he didn't want to play in an under 21 game a season or two back.

It's an HONOUR (two facts in one post) to represent your country. rage

Yes I know I could click on the link, and I know Paul Ince left the donkeys for some high falutin' club or another, but it's almost a matter of pride that I haven't the faintest idea which club it is.

Don't agree with that though.

It's not an honour to picked to play football for England, it's an achievement. The England manager is going to pick who he thinks are the best players to get him results and keep him in a job. He's not honouring anyone or doing them any favours.

But I wouldn't pick Bentley either. Not good enough from what I've seen.

Point of Order: if someone effectively says they can't be bothered to play in a particular game, would you rely on them to get you a result? I wouldn't, and that's close to what Bentley did. Ditto Chris Sutton when he was picked for England B and refused to play.

I'm pretty sure that Agbonlahor refused to go to the same tournament as Bentley too.

Not sure respect is the right word but they should definitely follow his instructions. They could always gang up I suppose and ring uncle Ken to complain.
