Just been looking at the Wiki page of Hartlepool, and was rather surprised to see we are also twinned with Muskegon in Michigan

Is this a surprise to anyone else, as much as it is for me?

according to their own website it's only that Japanese city, no mention of Hartlepool. Some mistake I think.

But if its not does that mean we're also twinned with the Jap one too? Surely as the two places are now family I can live in Japan without any visa issues? Well maybe just the visa that pays for the flights

Do your shopping in Switzerland or Scandinavia and maybe you'll change your opinion about rip-off Britain.
That's assuming you drink all your booze at home, which I presume is why you buy the stuff in supermarkets.

If you go out to drink nearly every West European country is dearer than the UK.

2.90 euro/3.50 euro is not much in the bars there i think when you think its £2 a pint and a good one
